Welcome to the Membrane Society of Australasia (MSA). The Society aims to represent and promote the activities in membrane science and technology both in the research and industrial sectors as described in our Vision and Mission.

This year, the major events of the MSA were the 1^st Student Symposium (18^th to the 20^th February) and the 7^th International Membrane Science and Technology Conference (IMSTEC10) which will be held from the 22^nd to the 26^th of November.  IMSTEC10 will be held in conjunction with the 6^th Conference of the Aseanian Membrane Society. The MSA is proud to bring to you these key events that exhibit membrane science and technology from the world’s membrane experts whilst also promoting our younger membrane community.

I am also very pleased to announce the successful bid for Australia to host the International Conference on Inorganic Membranes (ICIM) in 2014.

Student Symposium

MSA also hosts student symposium events. The 1st MSA Student Symposium was held on the 18-20th February 2010 at the University of Wollongong Innovation Campus and was a great success. We wish to thank everyone who was involved, everyone who participated, and congratulations to the winners of the best oral and poster presentations.

The 6th Conference of the Aseanian Membrane Society / 7th International Membrane Science and Technology Conference (AMS6/IMSTEC10)

MSA is co-organising and co-sponsoring the 6th conference of the Aseanian Membrane Society in conjunction with the 7th International Membrane Science and Technology Conference (AMS6/IMSTEC10), to be held November 22-26, 2010 in Sydney. This international conference is aimed towards membrane researchers, manufacturers and end-users who wish to keep abreast of recent progress in membrane science and technology.
